Glutathione is one of the most powerful antioxidants that supports our immune system. Liposomal L-glutathione provides one of the most important antioxidants in the form of sunflower phospholipid liposomes, i.e. fat soluble. NAC (N-Acetyl cysteine) and selenium also help to increase glutathione levels in the body. Liposomes are small round microspheres composed of phospholipids. For example, lecithin is a phospholipid. Phospholipids are part of all tissues and cells, and because they are both water- and fat-soluble, they participate in the transport of fat-soluble compounds such as vitamins and hormones into and out of cells.
